What the ending states
Rosemary finds a birth record for Jennifer Richardine Felton. The child was raised as a boy and given testosterone, and the Richard and Jennifer identities share one body. Gloria tells Rosemary she is the Red Nun, that she used Phenoxyl on Felton, and that she pushed him to kill Arianna. Celeste has already left.
Felton douses himself. Rosemary sets the fire. Gloria is drawn to a window and falls. Before she dies she recognizes Rosemary as one of the Cristo Morente nuns who ended the experiments. The frame story is Madame Svenska telling this to Giulio Manni.
